Laramie County Fire District #1 operates on a 48/96 shift schedule meaning that there are 3 rotating shifts working 48 hours on and then 96 hours off.

Each shift consists of a combination of paid staff and volunteers to provide balanced 24/7 response coverage for our jurisdiction.
